Unitized one piece seal designed to provide excellent sealing and contamination exclusion
The SKF Scotseal Classic is a unitized, one piece design that offers excellent sealing life in a broad range of operating conditions. This seal uses a sealing element that is assembled between a metal outer and inner case. To extend service life, the three-lip sealing element contains a pre-lubed, spring-loaded primary sealing lip, a dirt exclusion lip, and an outer bumper lip. A Bore Tite coating ensures a better seal than a metal-to-metal press fit.
Unitized design with 3 sealing lips
- Provides clean running surfaces for sealing lips
- 3 dirt lip barriers prevent oil leaks and keep out contaminants, extending service life
- Sealing element remains stationary with the spindle
